On September 16, 2008, MPISSN held it's second Green Meetings program and it was even more successful than the first! Attendees including meeting planners, hotel professionals, and meeting suppliers requested copies of the presentations and information on the panelists. Links to these are provided below along with the business and contact information for our moderator and panelists.

Download and share the wealth of information in these presentations! We hope that these thought provoking ideas will encourage you to take the first steps and green your meetings today!

Julie Hocking, Miss Green Jeans
Julie Hocking has 15 years experience planning and managing corporate conventions and group incentive trips world-wide and is the founder of the eco-friendly meeting consultation company, Miss Green Jeans.

Her goal in starting Miss Green Jeans was to incorporate eco-friendly practices into all aspects of meeting and event planning. Julie saw a need to implement ‘green’ tools, which promote positive practices every step of the way and has created programs and strategies that cut down on the use of natural resources, save money, generate excitement, and leave a smaller foot print.
